He studied Medicine at the College of Medicine, University of Lagos, and subsequently completed his residency in Radiology at the Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH). Throughout his career, Dr. Adebanwo has served in various capacities within the medical field, including private practice across multiple healthcare institutions. He later retired from the Lagos State Primary Healthcare Service.

Dr. Adebanwo brings a wealth of experience spanning primary, secondary, and tertiary healthcare delivery. He is a Past President of the Rotary Club of Surulere-South and a member of several social clubs.

His interests include nature study and classical music.
